Early 20th Century pressed glass pen tray.

235mm x 75mm

It would look delightful on your desk, at work or at home.

There are insets for six pens or pencils but I think two or three work best. But what do I know? Jam as many in as you want.

The manufacturing moulding reads 'made in England', with a makers' mark of a 'W' in a rounded rectangular box above.

The base is pressed into a gridded form.

I've looked into the origin of this particular branding but it's proven difficult; so many were produced of a similar design that keeping track is impossible. For instance, Criterion was a company that used fluted base mouldings and clearly moulded 'Criterion' into their products. This has neither, so it not made by them. That's a start to finding out at least, if you choose to continue the research.

Will be securely packaged and of course the pen doesn't come with it.
